From the Rainforest with love
Founded in 2017 by Alejandra Uzuriaga, Ainbo began as a family’s passion to preserve Amazonian craftsmanship. Today, we partner with 11 women artisans across Peru’s jungle, blending ancestral techniques with modern design to protect both culture and ecosystems.

Our Story
As a family business rooted in Peru, we manufacture our products in the amazonian region. Our collections are inspired by the Amazon’s breathtaking biodiversity—its textures, shapes, and colors—as well as the resilience of indigenous women who have preserved their traditions despite centuries of Western influence. Through bold patterns and sustainable materials, each Ainbo piece tells a story about nature’s lessons for a new way of living.
We are proud to be a small yet ambitious family business, committed to growing into the U.S. market while staying true to our roots. By participating in in-person events, we connect directly with our customers, gathering feedback to refine our mission and expand our reach. Ainbo is more than a brand—it’s a bridge between cultures, a celebration of sustainability, and a call to honor the wisdom of the Amazon on a global stage. Join us as we bring the heart of the jungle to the world!

What Does AINBO Mean?
Woman. Warrior. Wisdom.
In the Shipibo-Konibo language, means “woman” a tribute to the fearless feminine energy that flows through our craft and the guardians of the Amazon.

Our Team
Hands That Weave Change
Led by Alejandra and her father, our collective includes artisans from the San Martin, Ucayali, and Madre de Dios Peruvian regions. Each woman brings generations of knowledge in embroidery, basketry weaving, and healing.
